4 Water Parks Near Denver To Visit This Summer

With summer in full swing, there are so many fun activities to do when you live in Denver. And for the days you feel like staying inside, there’s plenty of amazing art museums to check out. Whether you’re looking for a fun afternoon visiting a new museum or enjoying one of the amazing or going on a fun outside adventure, you are bound to find something for everyone. But with the city heating up, on of our favorite things to do is to head to one of the many fun waterparks in the area.

Today we’ve compiled some of our favorite waterparks around the Denver area that you’ll definitely want to check out this summer. 1) H2O’Brien Pool

Located in the heart of downtown Parker, Colorado, H2O’Brien Pool is the perfect place to spend the day. You’ll have access to two 182’ water slides, a zero depth entry with a large, state-of-the-art water play structure, lap pool, concession area, and a sizable deck space for relaxing.

2) Island Kingdom Water Park

Free with Theme Park admission from Memorial Day to Labor Day, makes this a perfect addition to an adventurous day. With several types of slides, including thrill slides as well as those for the family, makes this a great stop for everyone during the hot summer months.

3) Pirates Cove Water Park

The only water park in Englewood, Pirates Cove Water Park is where you’ll want all the long summer days. Boasting a large play structure, a 25-meter 6-lane pool, a 35-foot slide tower that has three slides and so much more. Be sure to check out their website for upcoming events.

4) The Splash at Fossil Trace

Located in stunning Golden, Colorado, The Splash at Fossil Trace sits on 10 acres of land. Right next to Fossil Trace Golf Club. Here there are two slides, one a tube slide and the other 180 feet of fun. With many amazing features, you won’t want to miss out on a day or two spent here this summer.
